Welcome!

My name is Hayley Baudrau Gaarde. I have devoted a significant part of my life to the study and practice of music. As a performer and teacher I am eager to share my experience and love of music with others.

I am a Seattle-based performing vocalist and teacher. I have a Master’s degree in Vocal Performance from the University of Washington, and a B.A. in Vocal Performance from Whitworth University. I have enjoyed singing with the Seattle Gilbert & Sullivan Society, the Spokane Opera Company, the Puget Sound Concert Opera, the Eastside Lyric Opera, the Inverse Opera, and more. I have studied under Ann Evans, Joyce Guyer, Thomas Harper, Marjory Halvorson, Darnelle Preston, and others. I have extensive experience with opera, early music, musical theater, choral singing, recitals, church music, vocal competitions, and special events. Currently, I teach voice lessons at Ballard High School and at my home studio in Lynnwood. Please contact me if you are interested in performances or lessons.
